On a day like today, when I feel like a sea creature, living in a wet, dark world, I am especially attracted to a home where life seems sunnier.
Here, I could still be a sea creature, but maybe one that lives near the surface and who gets to lie on the hot pavement once in a while.
Isn’t it an alien notion, on a day like today, to be able to leave all your doors to the outside flung open?
Or to sit in the sun in your bathtub?
Looking at photos of this house makes me wonder if I should just hop in my car right now and drive across the 520 bridge where it seems to be a blue sky day over in Medina.
