Zipcar Road Trip
If you know anything about Seattle real estate right now, you know that we are experiencing a frightful lack of inventory. Buyers are hovering, waiting, waiting, waiting for something to come on the market that they can consider. But when something appropriate does appear, so do the other anxious buyers, scads of them, all rolling up their sleeves, prepared for battle. It’s approaching a level of intensity we haven’t seen, even back before the bubble burst.
If you have a property you’ve been wanting to sell, now could be your moment.
On this day, since I am waiting alongside my buyers for that new inventory to come along, and it’s boring waiting for something to happen, I am going to hop in a Zipcar and take a quick overnight trip to Portland. Zipcar is a new addition to the fleet of cars I use to get around. This is Anna (the Audi) and Giddyup (the Volkswagen Golf), two of dozens of Zipcars parked in my neighborhood and at my disposal. What a luxury!

When I dropped off Anna the other day, after a two day ride, I walked home past one of my Car2Go Smart cars and tried not to feel disloyal, but it’s hard not to have favorites…

The Car2Go gets more cuteness points, but for a road trip? I’d have to go with the Audi. In a small car, trucks and wind on I-5 can be scary! So glad you are freewheeling (figuratively anyway) again.
