South Lake Union Loft

South Lake Union has become the neighborhood for would-be urban dwellers. But housing is scarce in this burgeoning hot spot, especially if one wishes to be a renter (at first) who hopes to avoid living in a large apartment complex.

Last week, I helped some clients rent this cool, industrial loft-style condominium at Veer Lofts on 9th Avenue, two blocks from Lake Union Park and well within shouting distance of all that’s going in South Lake Union. GetMedia-1.ashx

Concrete floors, exposed beamed ceilings, and edgy design characterize this Vulcan-constructed building. GetMedia-5.ashxGetMedia-2.ashx

This unit has 13 foot ceilings, and a balcony with a Lake Union view. GetMedia-3.ashx

And every unit in the building comes with its own Bocce ball set for use on the common area Bocce ball court (with Space Needle view).
