The most astonishing story at yesterday’s office meeting was a condo at Trace North on Capitol Hill that sold with nineteen offers. Nineteen. That’s too many. The unit was listed for just under $300,000 but probably sold for $50,000 more. And this leaves eighteen other buyers still vying for the next one that comes on the market. These are crazy times.
This GBK office listing also sold last week, with a mere five offers. Actually, five offers is also a lot. It’s also more than plenty. You can see why it, too, got so much attention. It’s very urban cool.
