Sometimes Seattle seems unbearably overrun with people, cars, construction and noise. But even in the very center of the city, it is possible to find fun things to do where you don’t feel crowded. On Sunday at South Lake Union Park, I met all the cute cousins for a wooden boat outing. Surprisingly we practically had the place to ourselves on this sunny afternoon.
For a suggested donation of $5 you can rent a sailboat. Or three.
Everyone had a grand time.
